There are different types of danger that we deal with. "tissue-damage danger" and "non-tissue damage" or symbolic danger.
In order to not have our immune systems go into overdrive and deplete our resources, we need to know the difference.
If we don't, we will keep ourselves in a state of anxiety and fear - and this will keep us from being creative and exploring new possibilities for our life. In these times of uncertainty and mass anxiety, we need to give our nervous systems a break and to allow brain to still have time to be creative and thoughtful.
